An Implant-Focused Dentist About an Hour from Cordele
Most people in Cordele will not drive an hour for a routine cleaning, and we would not ask them to. Where the trip earns its keep is bigger work: replacing missing teeth, stabilizing a loose denture, or rebuilding a full arch. That is the care Dr. Curtis O. Hayslip has focused on for much of his 37-plus years in practice, and it is the kind of care that makes the drive from Crisp County to our Warner Robins office worthwhile.
The Drive Up I-75
From downtown Cordele, take I-75 north toward Perry and Warner Robins, exit onto Richard B. Russell Parkway, and follow it east to our office at 1295 Russell Parkway in Warner Robins. Without traffic the trip is about an hour and roughly 50 miles. We are open Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, so plan a morning appointment if you want to be home by mid-afternoon.
Why Cordele Patients Make the Trip for Implants
Dr. Hayslip holds a Mastership in Implant Surgery, is a Fellow in Implant Surgery and is a Diplomate in Implantology. His clinical focus is implant surgery and full-arch restorations, including All-on-X cases. In practical terms, that means the same dentist plans the case, places the implants and oversees the final teeth, so you are not passed between offices in different towns.
- Single dental implants replace one tooth, root and crown, without reshaping the teeth next to it.
- All-on-4 dental implants support a full fixed arch on four implants. The angled placement can reduce the need for bone grafting in some patients.
- Implant-supported dentures snap onto implants so a removable denture stops slipping when you eat or talk.
Fewer Trips, Better Planning
Long-distance patients care about the number of visits as much as the result. Our office uses cone beam CT (CBCT) 3D imaging, which shows bone volume, nerves and sinuses in a single quick scan. That detail lets us map implant positions before surgery instead of finding surprises during it. Digital intraoral scanners replace messy impression trays and send accurate 3D models straight to the lab.
At your first visit we review your health history, take the imaging we need and talk through every option, including whether a bridge, a denture or an implant makes the most sense for you. Costs are explained before anything is scheduled. We accept cash, checks and major credit cards, and work with CareCredit, Cherry and LendingClub Patient Solutions for monthly payment plans.
Cordele Questions We Hear Often
Can I get my everyday dental care closer to home and see you only for implants?
Yes. You can keep your local dentist for cleanings and see us for implant or full-arch treatment. Ask us about sharing records with your regular office.
How many visits does an implant take?
It depends on whether you need an extraction or bone support first. Dr. Hayslip will lay out the sequence and the number of trips at your consultation, so you can plan time off and rides in advance.
What if I am anxious about surgery?
We offer sedation dentistry, including nitrous oxide and oral conscious sedation. If you choose oral sedation, bring someone to drive you home to Cordele.
